Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Anna Gunn is a US actress. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the stage. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked as a theatre actor in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her luck in TV and film roles. Anna's first big role was Arden on Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. Anna continued to be guest stars on a handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she appeared in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn also took to the stage starring in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the show Numbered Day, which is a podcast consisting of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few seasons that were the life of Walter White.
